JAWA 650 OHC
HISTORY OF JAWA 650 CCM MOTORCYCLES
With the introduction of JAWA 650 Classic, JAWA 650 Style and JAWA 650 Dakar in 2004, you have had the opportunity to choose JAWA motorcycles in the 650 cc category. Their improved successor was the JAWA 660 cc series. The JAWA 660 Sportard was a uniquely designed motard with a sportier chassis, while the JAWA 660 Vintage returned to the classic JAWA motorcycle shape. However, as is usually the case, these models were discontinued due to stricter homologation regulations.
Now, the new, state-of-the-art JAWA 650 OHC and JAWA 650 OHC Sport models are “on the scene”, respecting both the simplicity of design demanded of retro-style motorcycles and the modern technical capabilities for comfortable use of the machine by its owner. Both models are equipped with a four-stroke single-cylinder engine, where you will greatly appreciate the level of torque that will give you a very comfortable use of power and engine flexibility. The motorcycles are cooled by air and oil, because simple solutions are the best. The five-speed gearbox is precise and pleasant to use. Engine boosting is provided by the proven Delphi injection system (already used by the JAWA 350 OHC series). The motorcycles are equipped with ABS disc brakes, which are significantly stronger than those used in the genetically similar JAWA 350 OHC motorcycles. This is mainly due to the higher weight, but also the top speed of the motorcycle, which is around 150 kph.
JAWA 650 OHC
Similar to the JAWA 350 OHC series, the new model features a more powerful engine and brakes as well as strengthened frame. Both models, however, continue the traditional design of the JAWA motorcycles from the 1970s and thus proudly claim the legacy of the traditional JAWA motorcycle brand. The motorcycle is again built primarily from steel components, as has been the case throughout the history of our brand. Thanks to accessories such as drop guards or luggage racks, the JAWA 650 OHC can become not only your agile means of transport, but also a reliable partner for longer journeys.
JAWA 650 OHC Sport
The flexible single-cylinder engine almost asks to be used in a more enduro-style motorcycle. This is exactly what we had in mind when we designed the JAWA 650 OHC Sport. The chassis of this model is identical to the JAWA 650 OHC, but thanks to the adjustable front mudguard, the larger space between the rear wheel and the mudguard, and the handlebar with a cross bar and a stylish roll, you can safely enjoy riding on roads of a lower quality compared to JAWA 650 OHC. The drop-shaped tank combined with a raised muffler directly link its design to JAWA’s historic motorcycles designed for “Six Days” races.
